Hi there!

My names Carole, I am 30 something years old and live in Waltham Cross, Hertfordshire with my husband Mark and our 2 cats.

I would like to welcome you to the CDP website. I am often being asked "where did it all begin?".
Well, that is a very good question .....

After getting married in April 2005 to my husband, Mark, I found that I had alot of spare time on my hands, despite working full time as an administration manager in Enfield, Middlesex. I needed a hobby!
After Christmas 2007, I ordered a couple of plaques from a lovely lady on ebay for my little niece and nephews birthdays. I fell in love with them.
It gave me the idea to use my spare time making plaques .........

I purchased all of the necessary materials and started work on my very first plaque. The first few that I made were for various family members and I was taken aback by their extremely positive feedback. I thought I would try selling some in the very place I purchased mine from just a month earlier. The response was astounding. CDP was officially born!!

In August 2008, I discovered the wonderful world of fimo. Made from polymer clay, these gorgeous little figures often adorn my plaques.
I simply cannot get enough of them!

I now design and create gift plaques for any occasion. All of my plaques are my own unique design and as they are handcrafted from scratch, no two will ever be the same. I am always being presented with new challenges and just love the work that I do. I still work full time at the moment although I am hoping to make plaques full time in the very near future. After all, its what I enjoy doing!!!

In February 2010, I attended my first ever craft show. It was a huge success and I have lots more shows booked in my diary.
